Purpose
Motivated by God’s love for us and a hurting world, the Media Ministry Team seeks to assist Rocky Mount Baptist Church in leading people into a new or growing relationship with Jesus Christ by giving glory to God through the use of audio/visual technology and media (John 4:23-24 & 1 Corinthians 1:10).
This ministry not only provides sound reinforcement and media support for worship services, but also records various events, teachings and sermons, which are currently available as podcasts on our website.
Areas of Responsibility

Sound Reinforcement

Operation of sound equipment during church services and other events as requested.

Recording of sermons and other events for the podcast and website.

Assist and support speakers, vocalists, and musicians on stage – includes sound checks and equipment checks (batteries, microphone cables, etc.)

Visual Media Reinforcement

Operation of computers, projectors, and camera systems during church services and other events as requested.

Coordination with speakers for sermon slides.

Coordination with Worship Team Leader for song slides.

Editing and posting sermons and other events requested as podcasts on our website.

Ongoing development and updating of the website.
