2 Corinthians 5:11-21

The human heart has the tendency to justify itself even when it’s guilty. A collection of self-justifying hearts forms a culture that gravitates towards whoever says, “Everything is ok!” even when everyone knows it’s not. The result is editing Jesus to make us comfortable with what we know is wrong. The true, unedited Jesus makes us very uncomfortable because He confronts the idol of our own self-righteousness. Change is scary but change is what we need.

The real, unedited Jesus is the One we really need.
